Residential data cabling

Why have residential data cabling?

Having data cabling or home networking at home has multiple benefits – the simplest of these being that you will get more out of your internet! In a world where most businesses are allowing for employees to work from home and what we ask of our internet is more demanding that ever, data cabling allows you to easily connect multiple devices like laptops, smart phones and games consoles to the network getting a seamless connection to all.

Why choose us?

We know where to hid the cables – When you are a proud homeowner, whilst you might need data cabling throughout your house, the last thing you want to see is unsightly cables. We will work with you to plan your cabling around home renovations or redecorating so that we can conveniently build the cabling into the work, but also meaning minimize disruption to your home life.

Data Cabinet location – If you are looking to install more than 4 cables, you are probably going to need a base for them which is where a Data Cabinet (Comms Cabinet) comes in. We’ll work with you to find the best place to locate this. You want to find somewhere which is hidden away, but also which won’t get damp – so under the stairs is an idea location but let us find the hiding place!

Think big – When considering your data cabling needs, try to think over the long term. You might repurpose certain rooms over time, and so where you need certain outlets might change. We’ll help offer you suggestions and help you try and plan in advance, to ensure that you only need to think about data cabling once

We do not connect broadband cabling from the road to your home. You would need to check what broadband installers are available in your area via Samknows UK Broadband Checker

Depending on what sort of property you live in will depend on where the cables are. Outside, we tend to clip them around the side of your house up until the point of entry into the house where the socket will be, and inside we try and use your loft so there are no cables on show.

Once the project is surveyed, and the quote agreed, we take a 50% deposit and schedule your installation which usually takes place within 14 days. The remainder of the balance is due upon completion of the project.
